The new student housing that will be inserted into one of the courtyards in Wriston Quad entails a possibility for high-density living environment for Brown University. One of the programmatic requirements is to provide more than sixty units in order to consider the project economically feasible. In addition, it must accommodate two egress exits, one on each end of the building. Taking the position of an intervention rather than merely an addition, it creates a reconstruction of the Quad.
