The obsolete Sharpe Refactory is an immediate candidate for demolition. Its site is dedicated for a high-tech and trendy mega-structure far different from the traditional red brick building. The new student housing serves as a mediator between the new development and the existing environment through material and procession. The building facade is an assemblage of horizontal strip terracotta cladding varying in density and transparent glazing.
